漫步在蘇花(和仁至太魯閣段)
於年前所計畫的揪團年度行程，在彼此裝聾作啞之下無聲無息成了泡影，再加上年節期間北部的天氣從大年初二下午就又濕又冷直到年假結束前才轉晴，總算挨過了擁擠熱鬧元宵節；既然婁次揪團失策悲哀怨恨不如趁初春穩定的天氣實現免揪團困擾的能獨自漫步在蘇花（清水斷崖）．
星期一晚間至大賣場小採購一些糧食後，還在猶豫要不要去而矇矓入睡，一覺醒來才清晨四點多，既然如此就起身將一年多未動的登山背包倒出來檢視一下，趕在天亮六點前出門，不過還是掛一漏萬忘了雨傘，六點廿分到達捷運市政站用悠遊卡搭乘首都客運經雪山隧道至羅東車站轉八點十二分的區間電聯車南下至蘇花台鐵和仁站九點零八分，步出招呼站後持續南行（路標為台九線一六八公里處），進入太魯閣國家公園第一個景觀和仁礫灘；近上午十點走進此行的第一個隧道仁清隧道，而折回隧道旁就是遭封閉的舊蘇花公路，如果不徒步就很難近距離感受體會舊蘇花公路開闢時的艱辛；第二個為和清隧道因舊公路之路基還算明顯就決定捨隧道而就古道穿越倒樹及些許碎石路段接回明隧道行走；十點四十到達清水休憩據點稍作停留觀景拍攝已通車三十週年的北迴線鐵路
接著是第三個及第四個隧道大清水隧道及錦文隧道午餐；在第五個匯德隧道北口休憩據點碰巧遇見今天唯一的單騎遊台的日本騎士，十二點十九分在黑暗又狹窄的隧道內再次遇見溫馨的砂石車司機停下車示意可以載我一程，但是我是存心來體驗漫步在蘇花行程，於是不得不趕緊以手示意婉謝好意，當時在隧道內連砂石車司機的模樣都沒見到，但還是衷心感謝這二位一定慈眉善目心地善良的砂石車司機大哥大；
第六個為崇德隧道為此行的最後一個隧道，隧道南口為崇德三角三洲；下午一點零八分即將離開國家森林區（路標約為台九線一七七公里處德惠橋旁）續行約二十分到達台鐵崇德站，詢問了站務人員後決定再南下續行至太魯閣站搭車北返；
Cingshuei Cliff - Vertical Precipice, Rolling Waves
The Suao-Hualien Highway wilds along the face of precipitous cliffs,with the vast Pacificto the east,and Cingshuei Cliff is its most unusual section.The cliff streches about five kilometers north and south from Cingshuei Station in Hualien County,and is Taiwan's tillestcoastal cliff. The rock face here is almost vertical; traveling this section of highway makes you feel like you are suspended in the air, with rolling waves beneath your feet striking your heart with fear. Here you feel the awesome mastery of nature's artwork, as well as the difficulty involved in building highway.
Introduction to the Chongde Trail 崇德步道簡介

Special Features: This is a great trail to the seashore for the entire family, young and old
. Although there is less forest cover than other trails, you will still find an abundance of
interesting and engaging vegetation. Plants that have evolvoed in this harsh environment to
look for include the fragrant Screw-pine ( Pandanus odoratissimus ), Taiwan Grass ( Arundo
formosana ), the Scaevola Sericea, a succulent, the Taiwan Hibiscus ( Hibiscus taiwanensis )
and the Roxburgh Sumac ( Rhus javanica ). When you arrive at the shore, you can enjoy the
majestic colors of the everchanging Pacific Ocean and the grandeur of the Cingshui Cliffs.
Caution: As there is little shade on the trail you may want to use a parasol on sunny days.
Prohibited activites:
1.The continental shelf is exceedingly steep so no swimming, playing in the water or fishing
is allowed. Please leave the beach in its national state and do not collect any stones,
shells, plants or other natural things.
2.No vehicles or any sort allowed on beaches.

如林投，台灣蘆竹，草海桐，山芙蓉，山鹽青等花草樹木，展現勇於向大自然挑戰的堅韌生命
力．
注意事項：本步道林蔭不多，請?帶遮陽工具．
本區海岸陡峭險峻，禁止戲水，游泳及垂釣；為保護美麗的海灘，請勿撿拾石頭．
嚴禁任車輛進入沙灘．
The Cingshui Cliffs 清水斷崖的前世今生
Known as one of Taiwan's Eight Wonders, the Cingshui Cliffs drop from the eastern edge
of Cingshui Mountain along the 21 kilometers of coastal area between Heping and Chongde. The
cliffs run along a fault line and are comprised primarily of marble, gneiss and green schist.
Over 250 million years age, this area was an ocean teeming with lives in the forms of
coral, malacofauna, and blue-green algae. As these lives went through their cycles, massive
amounts of shell and other remains accumlated. the calciferous sediment was transformed into
limestone through a process known as diagenesis. Finally, as layers upon layers of rock
buried the limestone deep beneath the surface, it was again transformed into marble.
The Cingshui Cliffs are ocean cliffs formed by a geological fault. The compactness of
marble is so high that it does not easily crumble, uniue as it is impressive.
清水斷崖的前世今生
名列台灣八大景之一的清水斷崖，位於清水山東側，自和平至崇德之間，綿延廿一公里．地質上屬於
斷層海岸，主要由大理岩，片麻岩及綠色片岩所構成；約二億五千萬年前，本區海中生長著珊瑚，貝殼，
藻類等生物，這些生物的遺骸堆積，富含碳酸鈣的沉積物，經由成岩作用形成石灰岩．隨後又因上層岩石
不斷深埋，石灰岩逐變質為大理石岩．約九百萬年前，歐亞板塊與菲律賓板塊開始發生碰撞作用．且持續
進行，因此，台灣島不斷隆起，加上豐沛的雨水，上履的岩層受風化侵蝕作用而剝失，深處的大理岩，於
是逐漸抬升露出地表，這就是清水斷崖的大理岩由來．
清水斷崖為斷層構造所形成的海崖，加上大理岩岩性緻密，較不易崩落，造成今日雄偉險峻的斷崖景
觀，形成幾近垂直且巨大的高差的特殊地形景觀．
