Somewhere in Massachusetts. They clearly missed the yellow sign.
I have questions.
so do I ! I see the yellow paint on the bumper. But how did it get like that?
up and over, popped through the bottom.
I’m still stuck at HOW. How did they back it up and keep going when they hit the post? I’m so confused and that is such a tall post to just go ‘up and over’.
It prolly bent over and they drove on top of the bent pole, then I’d imagine they tried to pull forward off of it. And it poked up straight as they drove forward and it caught underneath and pop. It’s the fact they took the pic with it so straight that makes it so hard to see what happened I think.
I think that’s a pretty accurate description of how it happened. Considering you can see the way the pole looks broken.
ditto. 同上。
that high?wouldnt there be a big dent 凹痕 in the bumper too.
sooo many questions.
Good catch on the pole damage. Had to zoom in to see it.
I caught damage at the bottom bc before your comment I was convinced this is photoshopped. But it looks like the pole was possibly rusted and/or cracked already (I did zoom in to see that clearly), then bent over from the hit went up under and then went up through the bottom.
yes. You can tell base. I believe that’s exactly what happened.
Bollard.
so many.
a lot of questions.
high speed, momentum. 。
yup we have those at parliament hill in Ottawa and will be using these pop-ups so you can’t drive out of your 15 minute city w/o permission.
I'm so confused by this photo.
ever heard of photoshop?
it backed into it, mark on the bumper. It went up and the pole popped up through the bottom.
prolly bent over under the back, and the folks tried to pull forward off of it I’d bet. It bent up and pop lol.
it’s not photoshopped because of the yellow smear on the back bumper from when they backed into the pole at speed.
that little care ain't gunna bend that post.
that makes no sense. So are you saying they couldn't photoshop that mark as well?
there’s damage to the bumper. No one is taking the time to make a hole in the bumper for internet clout.
cool story, then failing that it's been dropped from a helicopter.
it’s in the ground and can be activate to pop up to keep ppl out of areas..Turdo has them on parliment hill.
it hit the pole at a slight speed. Caused visible damage as it went up and over it. Popped through the bottom of the rear area there. Not too mysterious. I’ve worked with photoshop since it was released to the public. People always type photoshop until things are really photoshopped then 9 out of 10 people can’t tell.
How does one do this?
How…in the name of all that’s holy…did you manage to do that?!
I was born and raised in Massachusetts. This doesn't surprise me in the least. This is a state where people proudly sport bumper stickers that say, "Masshole".
Same here and I don't even drive, due to... reasons that I would rather not say.

Chasing the Bus
A tour bus heading to Las Vegas skids off the highway, leading to many deaths and even more injuries. The team suspects that this is no mere accident.
Storyline
24 people, including a recently released ex-con, aboard a tour bus heading for Vegas at night are injured, six even killed, when it suddenly gets out of control and is turned over after hitting medical resident Eric Kevlin's sports car. Only the bus driver survived, either may have caused the crash for a real reason. The bus was also mechanically in unsatisfactory condition, a broken bolt being crucial to the fatal breakdowns-chain, although the company owner had it revised recently, albeit at a cheaper garage. His staff yields an additional suspect.

The Bus to Las Vegas
When the bus with tourists heading to Las Vegas has a flat tire, the driver is unable to control it and the bus fall off a cliff on the road with a Camaro. All the CSI teams come to the location to investigate the accident and the casualties under the command of Grissom. Soon they learn from the debris that the bolts that holds the suspension of the bus are sheared and they look for the fleet owner. They learn that he changed the supplier of the bolts for price reason and they are forged with a different grade of steel. But they find also that the main reason of the accident is the blow up of a tire, and they learn the reason why.
"Chasing the Bus" is another good episode of "CSI", with very technical explanations, such as grade of material or Newton Laws. The resolution of the CSI team is great, deducing what has happened to the bus full of tourists and the Camaro's driver. My vote is seven.

I have to answer the comments talking about military invasion of Taiwan by China. I live in Taiwan for 7 years now, and I an IT engineer working for a company located in Taipei. What I can tell you is that media, not just western, also asian, are making the invasion look imminent when in reality, NOTHING IS HAPPENING. And when I say nothing, I mean nothing. On a regular basis, I have to answer worried family members that saw Chinese missiles flew over Taiwan, and everytime, I am like "Oh, really? When?".
You have to understand that the annexation of Taiwan by China (and no, it is not a reunification, Taiwan has never been under the control of the CCP) is a tool for the CCP in its domestic politics. To make it simple, the Chinese president must find a topic to gather support from his constituents. For the longest time in China, it was economic growth, now that it is slowing down, he needs to find another topic, and Taiwan's annexation is perfect as it plays the patriot cord. Also, if Xi could achieve it in its time as president, it would become his legacy, like Mao's legacy was to establish communism, Deng Xiaoping modernized the country, Jiang Zemin put China on the global market and Hu Jintao took people out of proverty. What is left to Xi Jinping? Taiwan.
Now, if it was that simple, the large PLA (People Liberation Army) would have already took over Taiwan by now. What is stopping them? The Silicon Shield.
Since the 70s, Taiwan has been leading the world of semi-conductor manufacturing providing 60+ percent of the world’s semiconductors and 90+ percent of the high-end chips. So if Taiwan was attacked or even facing a blockade by China, the manufacturing and supply chain of these chips would be disrupted. What would that create? A complete halt to the manufacturing of any product that is embedding electronic components, which in 2024 means most good. With 60% of the components missing from the market, that means no new cellphone, no new computer but also no new satellite, no new weapons, and not possible to fix the existing ones. That would have heavy consequences for the economy of the world, starting by China itself, first manufacturer of electronic devices. No one wants such disruption, not the USA, not Japan, not South-Korea, not Australia, who all said that they would protect Taiwan, but also not China as it would bring their own economy down, and would make them the initiator of WW3 as once you get a military conflict with China on one side and USA on the other side, they will be joined respectively by Russia, Iran, North-Korea, and by Europe and other allies.
Basically, as long as Taiwan is leading the world in semi-conductor manufacturing, China has more to loose that to win attacking.
So Taiwan is safe for the next 10-15 years.
After is another story.
If Taiwan didn’t have the semiconductor supply chain dominance US would not commit to help defend Taiwan as strongly as they do now. If Taiwan lose that edge then they would be in trouble. So Linus must move to Taiwan for Taiwan’s sake so the US would have another strong reason to defend Taiwan. Since I am sure there are more ordinary Americans who would worry about Linus than they worry about anything else in Taiwan…..if they could figure out Taiwan and Thailand are two different countries.

Full circle. I went to high school at Northside School of Performing Arts in Atlanta, GA. I graduated in 1989. The experience at that school changed my life. It’s where I discovered I could make a career as a performer. It’s where I learned skill, professionalism & discipline. I made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories. That time in my life holds a very special place in my heart as does that school.
Today, 35 years and 150+ credits later, I’m back on Northside’s campus filming a movie. (Though it’s now a middle school and no longer Northside). I could have never predicted the path my life would take. Being back here is a beautiful reflection on just how far I’ve come. The risks I took, the highs and lows, and ultimately the journey itself.
This is where it started. I’m grateful for every single step. Even the hard ones. It’s been incredible.
Northside Forever! Go Tigers! How cool is this?! 💜🤍
1. In the courtyard outside where the dance room had been (I majored in dance and started my career as a professional dancer).
2. In the gym where I cheered in pep rallies and at basketball games. (Now a prom set which is funny b/c we didn’t even have our prom in the gym - we had it at a hotel).
3. Outside where I entered almost every single day.
4. In what is now a hallway but would have been our dance room back in the day.
